They catered an event I was at and was legit the best Yams I have had in Northern California. The brisket was cooked to perfection and super juicy. Was pleasantly surprised at the ribs, had great bark but also fall off the bone tender. Good Southern slaw and fabulous baked beans to finish a delicious meal. As a person who smokes meat all the time, you recognize a great bbq spot when you see it. Service is very customer friendly and even though was just some random dude of the street, pitmaster was still willing to talk shop with me. Highly recommended looking for a great barbecue spot in Northern California especially Sacramento area.

Good flavor full lunch special! We had a plate of pulled pork, soul slaw and bbq beans and a plate of the brisket, collared greens and bbq beans. Great taste and portions. Definitely on our list for a good meal of REAL food!

Vibes, vibes and more good vibes. I found them on accident as I drove by their original spot as an outdoor BBQ. Now their new location is coming along amazing. This area NEEDED a legit southern BBQ place, and this one has it just right with the history and personality. They’re super cool and friendly people as well. Not to mention the food is absolute fire… I’ve been all over the South to places big and small, and I’m very picky about quality. These guys have it.

Oh my goodness!!! I popped in right after they closed but they still allowed me to order. I got beef ribs. I had several errands to run so by the time I was able to eat, my food was cold. The food was so good even cold! Potato salad was homemade with fresh cut seasonings! The greens were well seasoned as well!!! I figure if it’s this good cold, once I warm it up ! I highly recommend for true yummy BBQ! The ribs are so good they don’t even need bbq sauce! I was surprised by the price, but it’s been tough to find quality and tasty food.

I ordered the tritip with mac n cheese and beans. The meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful! There was a hefty amount of sides included. Didn’t short you on serving size when it comes to the sides. The mac n cheese was slightly mushy but still good. Beans were awesome! Overall, very pleased and will be back again to try other meats.

The food was more than enough. The ribs was falling off the bone(so tender ) the brisket was nice & thick. Yams was just right not too sweet. I wish had cornbread to go with the greens. And the chef came out to check on you. Definitely will be back

I arrived at 12:10pm and they open at 12pm…I waited 30 minutes but I got the 3 way meat dinner…that wait was well worth it…it was a line just 10 minutes after opening…it was a crowd of all walks of life and different cultures…it was a great atmosphere…I ordered the double tri-tip and ribs…I wanted yo enjoy my food do I took it home…my sides were greens and BBQ beans…the greens are so good I’ll order them by themselves…the beans…lord Jesus the seasoning and black pepper are not scarce at all…I love someone not scared of seasoning…the ribs are complemented with a nice rub and sauce on the side (did I mention even the sauce has seasoning) so many restaurants are scared of seasoning and please the crowd of customers…I love you being bold and I appreciate it…I came home put my food on a real plate and wanted to SLAP the world (not literally) but it hit my soul…thank you very much you have a new faithful customer!
