Love this place!! I don’t live in Oxford so I’ve only eaten their once but it was unforgettable! So much so that I just threw my twins 1st birthday in Oxford and asked El Agave to cater. Octavian made everything so easy and was a pleasure to work with. The food was so soooo yummy! Everyone was talking about it all through out the party. Fajitas for 2 is more like Fajitas for 4. Tons of meat. Their tortillas are too thick but otherwise was pretty good. A little pricey but you do get enough for 4 people. The queso dip is a bit spicy but ok and excellent service.

The manager is racist against black people. Unknowingly, I have supported this restaurant and recommended it to others, the manager guy accused me of asking for extra queso and salsa, saying I already had it. I have no need to steal anything, especially a small condiment container of cheese and salsa!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and the manager on duty was also rude to my fiancé and I. I sent my appetizer back due to its lack of freshness and when approached with an attitude by the manager on duty instead of an apology, he stated “there’s nothing wrong with the food so what do you want me to do.” We were very confused and caught off guard and would think that he would have more sense of emergency to address the issue instead of stating that there wasn’t anything wrong with the food. After this he went back and fourth with my fiancé and walked off heatedly. This was once my favorite restaurant in Oxford because I love Mexican but definitely won’t return to this one again.
