Spicy tenders were fireeeeeeee , came with biscuit or roll. Ate roll too fast 4 pic but it was fireeeee. Everything was made fresh. Burnt my tongue on the green beans. Okra was fireeeeee. Fish is basa. Hush puppies good. Portions good. Made order quick. Packaging good. Price is worth it. Fish was good. Usually only eat tilapia or white. Rare on salmon and shrimp. Hush puppies comes with fish. Customer service was cool. Interior cool.

My 2nd time ever dining at a Chicken Express. This time I tried the fish. Got a combo. 3 pieces of fish, hush puppies, green beans, and fried pickle slices. I’m a big guy, and it was quite filling. Clean building, well maintained, friendly staff. They do charge you more for using a credit/ debit card.

Stopped by for takeout and noticed the unmistakable aroma of old grease eminating from the restaurant. After opening the food containers, there was no mistake regarding the odor, and the food was burned to a crisp. It had obviously sat under a heat kamp for hours. The order was also short several pieces. Called the restaurant, and they could not have been more unconcerned. The staff contacted the GM and relayed her comments. The so-called GM was equally unconcerned.

Bought Chicken Express a lot. It has always been fresh and delicious until today 6/29/23. The livers were so hard and burnt that I could not eat. The Mac and cheese was dried out, not cream like it always has been. Very disappointed with this meal.

I have never been so mistreated by a “manager”. I went to Chicken Express this evening and ordered the fish. I’ve been multiple times and ordered the fish and they always make me wait so they can cook fresh fish. This evening I received my order as soon as I paid so I knew something must have been wrong. The fish they gave me was almost completely raw. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of it, but I thought it would be an easy fix. I took my order inside and nicely asked for them to cook me a fresh piece of fish. I saw the cook (who I now know to be Rickey Davis) literally use the same tongs they use for COOKED food grab the RAW fish and put it back in the fryer. I then asked an employee at the counter to ask him if he could cook me a fresh piece of fish. Rickey Davis, the GM/OWNER, walked up to me and yelled saying there was nothing wrong with that fish and that he would not cook me a fresh piece of fish. I then calmly asked for my money back and he responded with expletives that I will not post on here. I even asked him for the number to call and complain and he said he didn’t know the number. If he is the owner of the location, how does he not know the number that I need to call?

Ok first of all this is my 1st time eating here. And imma keep it real. I’m not a big fan of catfish, but I must admit they won me over. The chicken is Fried to perfection. The coleslaw, jalapeño poppers, were delightful . Biscuit was soft and fluffy. The Mac and cheese was ok.
