My husband and I took some friends to eat here. This is a hidden gem in Chillicothe. On Friday’s and Saturday’s they have prime rib. We enjoy getting it king cut medium-rare grilled and seasoned.

First time visit to this restaurant. There were a lot of people. We went based on a recommendation from someone we know. Although it was busy, it doesn’t take long for them to come to the table to get out drink orders and bring our menus. We ordered the catfish and it came with two sides so we got a baked potato and the salad bar for an extra dollar. Although the catfish was good, it was greasy. The salad bar was okay too. It didn’t have a lot of extra choices but it was sufficient for us. Our bill was about $40. Not too bad for an evening out. Next time I’ll try something different.

Been years and years since I’ve dined here. Drove up with my buddy Darryl from Creve Coeur. Darryl doesn’t get out much and I’m always trying to think of someplace different to take him. Think this restaurant has been here since 1979. Really don’t believe the decor has changed over the years and is in need for a sprucing up. They were very busy and probably short on help as is the norm these days for just about any business. We were finally waited on, but our waitress wasn’t much on smiling, etc. Darryl always likes it when a restaurant serves Mountain Dew and he was very pleased that they did. He’s a big cheeseburger fan and ordered the King Burger. Also some jalapeno poppers. He had never had them before and he fell in love with theirs. I had the Reuben sandwich, fries and slaw. The slaw wasn’t the best, but 99% of restaurants aren’t much good these days. We both loved the fresh skin on thick fries. Service was just ok, but we left a nice tip anyway.
