Grand opening! The food is amazing! Healthy and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and the manager visited with us to ensure our experience was top notch. The atmosphere is welcoming modern and clean . I highly recommend you check out this restaurant. The black rock cooking experience is a must try.

Just went to this newly opened spot off Cherry Creek Dr in Glendale. We sat at the sushi counter and enjoyed a carefully curated, creative, engaging, and educational omakase experience. We had the pleasure of being served by Duy, the Head Chef. Having this restaurant in my backyard is a beautiful thing and I want to spread the word to everyone I know. This location has been historically tough for businesses but the food is so incredible I hope they’ll be here for a long time. I have had a lot of sushi in my time but tonight I tried lots of new things I’ve never had anywhere else: flying fish, monk fish liver, sardine, sashimi-grade black cod. Y’all, absolutely incredible beginning to end. Support these folks. You won’t be disappointed.

We were excited to try Hana Matsuri, as it recently opened near our home. Upon entering we were greeted by the hostess and promptly seated (we did make a reservation – not necessary). There were many open tables for 6:45 PM on a Saturday night… I ordered a $26.00 bottle of Sake that had apparently sat in the cooler for a while because the contents has separated. The bottle was shaken for a brief time and then poured by our server, leaving much of the goodness at the bottom of the bottle, ugh. We ordered 2 vegetarian rolls, 1 Wagu beef roll and 1 King Salmon roll. The vegetarian rolls did come on separate plates as we requested, thank you!

We’ve been here twice now- work lunch on a Thursday and an omakase dinner on a Saturday. both were absolutely phenomenal experiences! For lunch/every day dinner, there is an incredible variety, from the authentic Japanese nigiri/sashimi quality (that is hard to find in Denver) to some incredible fusion dishes that highlight the chefs creativity and willingness to elevate exquisite ingredients, you will find what you’re looking for. Add an extensive cocktail/sake/wine/Japanese whisky list, stylish & refined decor, world class service, and this is the prime spot in the neighborhood! We will be regulars here for sure
