Terrible service! Came here to watch Nugget’s finals game 2 because Hooters across the street had an hour wait. While the supposed waitress was sitting down laughing it up with her friends, I had to place my order with the bartender. When I finally got my order it was only mine first while my friend had to wait until I was completely done. When I asked to get comped for the wings the owner came at me with attitude saying he wouldn’t comp it because of the way I asked. He said he would take care of me but he didn’t of course. Will never come back and you shouldn’t come in at all.

Today was my first time at The Hideaway Lounge. Upon arriving I was greeted with the friendliest service I’ve had in years (The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is because Renee was the most amazing bartender I’ve had in years), but things went downhill from there. Some regular named Jason (who was very clearly overserved) was preying on virtually every woman at the bar and acting extremely creepy. This Jason person then stole the phone of another customer. The phone was located by calling and was right in front of Jason. As soon as the phone was located practically in his hands he tried to fight almost everyone in the bar for the accusation of what he very clearly did. 2 individuals who identified themselves as employees with the names of Paul and Chris tried to fix the issue (they refused to tell me their names for several minutes because of how poorly they handled the situation). The only positive thing they succeeded in doing was preventing Jason from hitting someone, but only by the skin of their teeth. They still let him back in the bar to continue to prey on women and steal things from the other customers. Upon telling them they handled this situation poorly Chris and Paul got argumentative with me and encouraged me to leave for voicing my opinion instead of the obvious preditor. I tried to handle things calmly in person and was verablly attacked by staff and I was just a bystander. There will need to be some significant policy and staff changes before I’ll ever spend another dime at this establishment and I’m fearful for any female that might be a victim of this clearly accepted behavior.

What a cool group of people! My husband and I visited this place while we were in town and we accidentally stopped in before they were open. They still welcomed us in, let us sample some local beer and gave great customer service despite us being there a little too early. Chris and Renee, thank you for an awesome time. Looking forward to seeing you all again next time we are in Denver!
