This place was awesome the sushi rolls were delicious. The customer service was great and very responsible. We didn’t have to wait to get seated and the food was prepared in a timely manner. Highly recommend! Fun fact: My rolls are all deep fried in case you’re wondering.

We REALLY enjoyed our first visit here, even the second visit… Down hill after that. You should be remembered if you tip well and come twice a month, they dont. The servers forget utensils, soy sauce, wasabi, and then service starts to become slower with each visit. I can occasionally deal with that, but you’re tip will be effected. But my main complaint is the food is very inconsistent. We basically get the same rolls every time, and every time they become a lil different and now, I can’t recommend coming here long term. First timers, great, just not for returning customers.

We celebrated my son-in-law’s birthday here last night and we had such a lovely time and delicious meal. We love everyone there, especially Mickey. She is sweet and adorable. Tried this place for our first time; ordered 4 rolls. They were nicely constructed, did not fall apart easily, and were not overly large. The ingredients were very fresh and had excellent flavor. The rice was relatively soft, sticky, and warm. We had take out and they were prepared in very nice to-go trays and tied securely in a bag. They did tie the top of the bag but in a way that it was a quick pull to untie. The dining room was inviting and spacious. Nice atmosphere inside and would absolutely love to bring the wife back for a relaxing evening.

As I’ve stated in my yelp review, this is one of the best sushi jointa in Bakersfield. Primarily because of the Manager. Michelle is great. Now that shes moved over to the Brimhall location the quality still remains. I just had lunch there and the sushi was great, the atmosphere was calm and the service was attentive. You can’t ask for a better experience. Eddie, though, is my go to waiter, the guy is awesome and serves with integrity.

Went in for dinner with husband. Everything looked good. Wasn’t busy. 10 people in total maybe. Waiter seated us, then walked around waited over 10 mins never came to take drink order. He was just walking around talking to other worker. So we left. They said thank you on the way out the door. Was looking forward to checking the place out found on bako eats. Came here for the first time ever. Arrived early for dinner at 4pm and we were surprised to find we were the first in the door! We were pleased to see they had a temperature scan upon entering. That made us feel secure about their precautions during the Pandemic. We were offered a nice table and very well appointed menus. Our server explained the menu to us. We loved the variety! They have fun names for menu items, like, “The Hulk.” I opted for the Baked Salmon Roll. Two members of our party had the California Roll and the Avocado Roll. Another member of our party had the plain Ramen. The Baked Salmon Roll was DELICIOUS. It was delightfully warm and tasty. It melted in your mouth! It arrived neatly arranged on a platter with a color changing LED light. So cool, and so fun! The restaurant interior is also very classy yet, comfortable. We dressed in our casual clothes and didn’t feel underdressed. Our server was kind, attentive, and so pleasant. We look forward to returning here and recommend it to others who are looking for a GREAT sushi place! This one is PHENOMENAL!
