Love Tozai! Been a long time since I last went, and it’s only gotten better. The wait time was short, sushi and appetizers were delicious as usual, and it was perfect for a birthday dinner. We ordered family style, with 7 or 8 rolls, and got the most delectable looking (and tasting) platter of sushi, as pictured. Pricing is pretty reasonable for the food/for Sebastopol, too! Would recommend 🙂

Good sashimi, sushi rolls, and Udon noodles, and great staff. The main problem for us is the noise. With reflecting surfaces everywhere, the dining area becomes a cauldron of noise when many tables are occupied, especially with a party group. We wish the management would seat large groups in the unused upstairs room, and add some soft noise-absorbing partitions in the main dining area.

Always excellent! I’m never disappointed with the service or food. Super nice folks working here. Upstairs is more family oriented and subsequently louder. The sushi bar and downstairs seating is quieter and more traditional. We opt for downstairs and the regular tables. Sitting at the bar is a bit faster for food, but we like the tables just fine.

Not the best service but it may have been an off night. Great fish and sushi however, and authentic Japanese menu items. We were rushed out a bit before we were comfortably finished, but they had been closed 15 minutes or so, and the night seemed like it may have been slow.
