This family run Afghan restaurant is outstanding. Our personal favorites are the Chapli Kabob (ground beef and lamb) and Murgh Kofta Kabob (ground chicken). The meals are served with a lentil soup, tomato and cucumber salad, fresh bread, and your choice of rice. We also enjoy a side of the okra dish as well.

Each time, I go there with my family, I receive a warm welcome from the staff and the restaurant is pleasant. You will travel to Afghanistan through the decoration and the photos. Came back here after about 5+ years and this place is still just as wonderful! My grandfather was a regular here when he lived in the area and became friends with the staff. Even after so much time had passed they still remembered him fondly and that meant the world to my family & I! Grandpa turns 99 on September 3rd coming up and still talks of the times he used to go to Silk Road!

We have always loved eating at Silk Road. We decided to try a catering experience for our party, and would highly recommend for not just the food but excellence in service. We worked with Stephan customizing our menu, figuring out costs, and quantities. He was patient in exploring multiple options with us until we finalized our order. Despite his own business at the restaurant, he even came to bring the food and setup before our party, give us detailed instructions on best serving and heating practices. We have taken out from here many times. However, the price increases are crazy. $35 for 6 small pieces of lamb over rice. It’s no longer worth it. The food isn’t THAT good, but high enough quality if prices weren’t obscene. This will be dropping from our Warren dining list…
