The second worst meal of my life. First we were almost seated by a busy server station although there were better tables elsewhere. Once seated at our new table, the owner suddenly jerked my seat with me in it to make room for the booth behind me. Then my husband’s steak was brought out and it took my entree at least five more minutes to arrive. The seafood kabob was overcooked and tough and the different seafood items on the stick were flattened and cooked beyond recognition. My baked potato was brown inside the skin, undercooked and inedible. Just an old boiled potato microwaved to heat it up. My salad had a yellow iceberg lettuce core in it. The bread was microwaved and tough, the table bussers put the dishes in the bus tray very loudly and it wasn’t pleasant.

The food was absolutely awesome. Waitress was great. This is to the gentleman who got out of his car without hesitation came to my side along with my boyfriend and helped me get across parking lot to front door. I couldn’t use walker on gravel. Thank you so very much. There is some selfless people around. I found one today.

My husband and I visited Cuz’s on Nov 6. It was his second time eating there and my first time. What a treat! We usually order an entree and that is it, but on this visit, a small celebration for us, we started with appetizers. I had the crab soup and my husband had the French onion soup. I loved the bites of crab in the soup, usually there is only a few pieces of crab in most other restaurants, but at Cuz’s there was crab in every bite. My husband loves French onion soup and said that his bowl was every bit as good as the finest restaurant serving. I had the grilled ribeye and my husband had the smoked ribeye. The steaks were HUGE and very reasonably priced for 20 ounces of meat. They actually were three meals apiece for us, which made the price even more reasonable. Very tasty and cooked precisely to our order. We finished the meal with creme brulee and silk pie. The coconut brulee was marvelous. Becky was our waiter and she was outstanding. She came by the table often to ensure that we had what we needed and that our food was prepared to our liking. If you haven’t been to Cuz’s, go. If you have been there, but it has been a while, go again.
