Established in April of 2004, Aroma Café is a family-owned restaurant which brings a unique taste of the Mediterranean cuisine to the local community in West Los Angeles. We pride ourselves for using the freshest of seasonal ingredients, while devoting time and effort into each dish as a home-cooked meal. So when you come in, whether you order a coffee or a salad please don’t mind the wait, we are either brewing you a fresh cup of coffee or cutting and seasoning your salad only after you’ve ordered it.

The Hawaiian Aroma Caffe is nestled off of the main lobby of the Beachcomber Hotel just up the escalators from the street level. Very easy access. Offers up a variety of breakfast options from the light to fairly heavy. I just had bagels and a smoothie shake for the most part of my stay there. They offer up a wide variety of waffles, from the regular plain Traditional to the exotic Truffle, truffle honey enriched. All your coffee options and some tropical cocktails. Easy access to the pool area, (very tiny with a street level view of the bustling Kalākaua Ave. The service is great, Atenia, <---- I know I'm butchering the spelling, was a bright cheery personality in the morning with her cheerful engaging smile. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Prices... you are on vacation what do you care lol. Come on in and enjoy the lovely kitschy decor and grab your favorite merch at their version of the impulse aisle.

This place has been my favorite restaurant in the area since I went here for the first time 8 years ago. The food is INCREDIBLE and reminds me of home (real Mediterranean food, not the trashy Americanized version of it). The staff is always so sweet and they work so hard. I am SO happy that they’re still around and can’t recommend them more! Everyone I have told to go here has been ecstatic. They are absolutely fantastic!

New staff and still astonishly friendly, as accommodating as can be and the food is good– though 1/3 more the price and 1/3 less the portions. The former $10 lamb kebabs (2) with salad and roasted vegetables or potatoes is now $15.50 and has one kabob. Still filling enough for a meal + take some home and delicious! And no bread with it these days either.

Authentic Bosnian food at its finest. We ordered cheese Burek (pita), Cevapi and chicken kebab. Don’t forget to ask for sour cream because it’s elevates the whole meal. The pita was especially amazing. Will be coming back!

Went here on my birthday, I felt so out of place, uncomfortable. Everyone was staring at me, looking at me weird. From when I enter the building to go to my table. No one said anything. I was just like, what’s going on? They did not get my order right, I only ordered a greenery salad. I was told it would have Kale and spinach walnuts and cranberries.. But it only had different types of lettuce, so I didn’t eat. It just messed up my birthday. The waitress never asked me if he could do anything. The waitress never apologized, nothing, or tried to get the order right.
