Deluxe tonkatsu order is ample enough to share. Juiciest tonkatsu I’ve found in East Bay though thick crust is a bit too rich for my taste. Potato salad meh, rice is rice, miso soup was fine. I would prefer classic thick tonkatsu sauce to the thin, intensely garlicky sauce offered.

This is my new favorite katsu place in Oakland! Highly recommend getting anything from the deluxe menu – it’s a big portion of food and the sides that are included are all delicious! Already looking forward to getting it again soon.

The best takeout hands down! Every component of the deluxe combo is excellent: the katsu, rice, sauce, potato salad, and cabbage. I especially enjoy the chicken katsu. Ordering is simple and pickup is convenient at the ghost kitchen. 10/10 food every time.
