Good service, food is good, drinks are good, ambiance reminds me of a worn out casino diner. Could use a cleaning the ceiling tile looks like it’s been around since the smoking inside age, dusty and yellowed. But if you can get past the loud rude Karen’s that get seated near you then the food is good and service is good. We will be back.

My family had heard about Sr. Ric’s while watching a baseball game in Aurora and it came highly recommended. My dad was sold by the idea of going to it and we headed over there. The place looks great and the service was super good. Our server was super nice and they got our food out fast. They also were quick to get drinks to us. I ordered the chimichanga with shredded beef. The only thing that kept it from five stars was the fact the food just had way too much pepper in it. There was no need to do this as it would have been excellent without that much pepper.

My family decided to try authentic Mexican food and we regret not visiting this place sooner! After trying few different dishes, our favorite entree is the steak fajita skillet. Everytime we visited, we were impressed with their service, too.

Called in for take out to try Mr. Ric’s for the first time as it was recommended by a trusted source. Result: REALLY GOOD!! The old school Mexican restaurant vibe with it’s wide lounge and adobe decor was a sight for sore eyes. Most of these places are gone now. The food was pretty good too, especially the green chile bowl which had the perfect amount of med-hot spice, generous amount of pork and maybe the fluffiest flour tortillas I’ve ever had. Big portions and great vibes. I went during the happy hour and the 2 for 1 margaritas was too good to pass up. The margaritas are so delicious. Food was good and came out quickly. Servers and bussers provided great service! Prices were very reasonable.
