I came here for the brisket and it did not disappoint. Good brisket is difficult to find in DC but this place nails it. I will be back soon.

Loved their juicy brisket. Half a pound is more than enough to be satisfied. I also enjoyed their pulled pork. Next time I will order one or the other because it was a lot of meat.

This place was awesome. $21 for a 3 meat sampler, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage with 2 sides that was really delicious. Meat was juicy, I’m usually not a fan of sausage but it had allot of flavor. Very generous portion. This location is inside of union market and is usually pretty busy. But you get your order pretty quick, well worth the 10 min wait or so. Highly recommend!

The customer service is A1 and the food outstanding.Everything is tender and tasty you will not regret it. The price reasonable for some bomb a** BBQ. I usually get the trinity Texas platter which is enough for two. ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS BY FAR THE BEST BBQ I EVER HAD IN TOWN. Both locations Riverdale and DC Union Market are delicious. Real smoked BBQ.

I’m for Texas and a fellow pit master and this bbq reminded me of Austin, TX. Ribs were very tender and had lots of flavor. The brisket had a great smoke ring, good bark, and passed the pull test. I was very pleased.

Holy Texas Trinity! Incredible sampler of mouth-watering brisket, succulent and spicy sausage, and tender pulled pork with two ramekins of sweet and spicy bbq sauce. But wait, there’s more: two mini sides of your choosing (the Mac n Cheese and potato salad were delish), plus pickles and onions. And toast. I never made it to the toast. Absolutely epic bbq.

I don’t have the right words to the describe the flavors in these meets… from the taste, the juiciness are AMAZING! And don’t get me started with the customer service, everybody is friendly and polite. The place looks clean and neat clean. I really liked the design inside the place. It is definitely WORTH IT! Can’t wait to go back.

Brisket is absolutely AMAZING, 2fifty knows how to do texas style brisket right. I asked for an entire point of the brisket to share with my family and friends, Jamie took extra care to wrap it well and everyone enjoyed it once I got home.

Cal or Kel. Idk dudes name. I waited in line for ten minutes with no one in front of me. He proceeded to weigh several handfuls of pulled pork to “see how much he had.” Thought it was weird to make a customer wait for administrative tasks. But as more time went by, he finally notified me all they had was sausage left. That’s a piece of information you tell a customer immediately (not after waiting for ten minutes). The guy before me ordered pork, so he clearly knew they were low on every item on the menu. After I told him he should have let me know sooner, he brushed the statement off with attitude. This dude clearly doesn’t care about customers or have a sense to represent the business well.

This place deserves to be rated above 4.5. 2fifty’s brisket moist is now tied for my favorite in DC with Hill Country. The spicy sausage is amazing…I love the flavor and texture which is more sausagey and less hotdogish..the hot doggish texture makes sausage seem low quality just not good, but 2fifty’s is the good kind. I found myself wanting to pair this with a good sweet Amish type potato salad, but the sweet cole slaw is healthier and fits the bill. I’ve got another ‘que spot…and one where two can eat well for 40 bucks vs 90 at Hill Country, and with better sausage than Hill Country’s! I’ll update after I try the ribs. I’m coming to check out the Riverdale location when I get a chance. Take a bow, 2fifty’s!
