It was wonderful going to The Outpost! I’m an adult but I get the kid’s chicken tenders and waffle fries everytime because one: they are delicious and two: they are super cheap for being good quality!

This is a very simple bar. Great environment and a friendly staff. It is clean and well maintained. There are several bar games available such as billiards, darts, pinball and more. The pull tabs are machine fed, there are no live boxes. Beer was cold and we were crazy. Some of the people I went with had food and they really liked the duck wonton. Enjoy y’all!

Camped and tubed there, they were very nice. Recommend making reservations for camping and you have to pay upfront for reservations.

Fun place to stop and grab some bar grub and a beer. I enjoy stopping here while snowmobiling because it’s just off the trail managed by the Nevis Trail Blazzers. Nothing beats a day of riding and grabbing a bite to eat and cold brews. If you’re in the Menahga / Park Rapids area stop by and get a cold one.

Fantastic food. Above friendly staff. Don’t be a Karen if the bartender is busy and doesn’t ask you about your day. They’re doing their best, and will take great care of you. Everything we ordered came out hot and oh so delicious. Best little nowhere near.

Had to stop to go to the bathroom. Granted, I have an “alternative appearance”. Wearing a mask, opened door, and felt all eyes go on me. Hustled to the bathroom, and once done, when i walked back out, again, all eyes on me. Granted, I have blue hair and facial piercings, you would think I was wearing bondage latex with whips and chains the way I was stared at. But, it’s the locale and I didn’t take offense. Didnt stop long. Bathroom was functional.
