I had to take my 5 star review back. This place has not been consistent with the quality of their food. My goto order is nachos and on three different occasions the chips are stale and not edible at all. Its hit or miss because there are time’s everything comes out perfect. I won’t be returning. Sad how lake st has no good eats

Amazing authentic Mexican food, it truly feels like I’m in my mom’s hometown. The owner is extremely humble, welcoming and passionate about his craft. Most people don’t know Edgar was the chef de cuisine at X2O. He is extremely talented, not only with the food but he makes his own desserts too. Be sure to leave room for some flan.

I literally left just 10 minutes ago. I bought the al pastor and let me tell you this is the best one I have has so far. This will be my go to spot from now on. The portions were bigger than I expected. Birria tacos looked bomb too. Can’t wait to try those next.
