One of the nicer middle eastern restaurants in the Bay Area. Must try dishes are the lamb mandi and chicken seekh. The ambiance is a bit of a let down, but nothing to complain about the service and food. Highly recommend it.

We had Iftar buffet at Holyland a couple of days back. The food is really good. The buffet had rice with minced meat, one beef dish and one eggplant dish. All of these were very flavorful. They also had chicken tikka masala, which I didn’t try – those of my friends who tried it, liked it.

Delicious Mediterranean food. Everything was prepared perfectly and pretty quick service also. Lamb in the mansaf & mandi was cooked to the correct tenderness, even can appeal non lamb people.Kenafeh & baklava was also yummy

Visited for lunch and found some of the experience wanting. The food was barely warm, the ambience & decor was not ideal and service was not ideal as we did a sit down and weren’t offered any drink choices, apparently it is self serve in Styrofoam cups. The choices of entrees to choose from were plentiful for both veg to non-veg. However, the lunch needs to improve.

Loved the food, service and music, a very different Mediterranean experience after a long covid time… They had Arabic music playing in the background which gave the place a real Mediterranean vibe. We ordered Dolmas which are grape leaves stuffed with seasoned rice and Kebbeh for starters. Both were good. For mains, we got the combination plate, mansaf and Mandi. I liked the mansaf – it was mellow but at the same time flavorful. For dessert, we got Kenafah, baklava and Basboosh. Hated the Basboosh but loved the kenafah. All of this still came around 85 bucks including tax.
