Same great quality food, and I actually like the atmosphere here better than the downtown location. This new location is 5 minutes from my house and no problem trying to park. They hit a homerun with this location. I’ve always loved Luna’s and stopped going as much because of the inconvenience of parking downtown, I will definitely be visiting this new location frequently! The service was a little slower than I am used to, but growing pains are to be expected.

We had some hiccups for our experience today but we addressed them with the waiter who addressed with management. We understand this was night one and there’s plenty of kinks to work through so we are very understanding in that respect. I hope to change my rating to 5 stars over time. Had a lunch meeting recently at Luna South. First off, they did a great job creating an atmosphere that makes it easy to spend time there. It’s very laid back and the art everywhere is fantastic. We sat in one of the booths in the bar atea and it was so perfect. Our server was very attentive and offered recommendations to those who hadn’t eaten there frequently. Then there is the food… nothing short of incredible. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip and I should have stopped there. But of course I didn’t and proceeded to overfill myself with some Dragon Tuna, crispy fries and a side of cosmic dressing. There is nothing like it. The others with me were also hurting after the meal because they simply couldn’t stop eating. Overall, Luna will always be my favorite restaurant and now having another Lake Charles location is going to be so great for everyone.

Nice to have a Luna location in South Lake Charles. Food, service and atmosphere were great. I wanted to give 5 stars, but as soon as we got our food, someone started cleaning a table near us and the smell was so strong. Other than that, everything was great!

Luna South has a great atmosphere. Out of town guest love this Lake Charles dining experience. Food is always on point. My fave is fires of Pluto w/ side of sweet potato fries. Can’t go wrong with spinach dip & Jerry Garcia.

Enjoyed lunch with a friend today at Luna South. The food and service was outstanding! The Neptuna melt on Jalapeño sour dough is the best sandwich in town! So excited to have this local restaurant in South Lake Charles. The location, food, and price points are all perfect!
