We were visiting from out of state and were looking for a good Texas Barbecue. This place had great reviews, so we decided to give them a try. By hands down the best decision! The owner was so very nice, the smoked brisket was was so good! The bbq sauce was out of this world delicious. I offered several sighs of contentment during, as well as after the meal. Highly recommend!

I had a coworker come in from St Louis this week. He said he wanted to try some true Texas BBQ so of course we came here! We had the Brisket Burger and it was amazing! Perfectly cooked 1/2 lb burger topped with slow smoked award winning brisket add cheese, jalapeños and pickles and throw in a side of golden fries and we had ourselves the best Texas BBQ Burger in town!

Nice little place off hwy 3 and 610 right across from Chavez High School…I ordered the brisket nachos and a brisket sandwich. Pretty tasty, I will be going back. You may want call just to make sure they are open though.

If you want fast food, this isn’t it; but it’s worth the small wait. I decided on a simple cheeseburger with fries. I was informed by the owner that it would be about 10 minutes. I said “no problem”…cook away. He offered me a place under the patio, but I wanted to enjoy the nice sunshine, so I waited out by my truck. It was worth the wait. That was the biggest and best tasting 1/2 pound homemade cheeseburger I’ve eaten in awhile. Give them a try. You will not regret it. Next up…I’m going to try their brisket burger!

Did a search for BBQ near me and this place came up as closest (just passing through Houston and got hungry). Excellent choice, brisket was as good as any I’ve had any place in TX; tinder and moist! Sausage was delicious too! Wife and I had a 2 meat plate with rice, beans & potato salad. Plenty of food for $22 total, great value.

My husband & I had the new item on the menu which is the brisket topped Hot Dogs & of course it didn’t seem to surprise us at how Delicious they were & then the added drizzle of melted cheese was the icing on top of these hot dogs then, of course it’s a meal with Fries! Can’t wait to go back & have more & Happy my family is just as pleased!

It’s a 4-man operation at “Perfect Choice”. The fellas know how to bbq. Authentic hole in the wall bbq joint to satisfy anyone’s hunger. Good prices and better food! I forgot to get photos of our food but what’s already posted hasn’t changed.
