As a local, rarely do I eat on Lincoln Road; it’s just not what it used to be, BUT, now I literally go out of my way and I bring all my out of town guests to Ai Sushi inside the Lincoln Eatery. This sushi place is delicious! Carlos is the owner/sushi chef and he is so beautifully passionate, thoughtful and loving when it comes to creating his rolls. Even the soy sauce that he makes himself from scratch is so meticulously full of flavors; not too salty, just the perfect blend to slightly flavor any of your rolls with. So far my favorite roll is the smoke hamachi maki-it’s a perfect mix of spice, sweet, crunch and savory fish. I’m so bad about taking pictures because when I’m there, I just enjoy watching him create and I savor every bite that he places on my plate that I forget to grab my phone, but trust me, I am so particular and picky when it comes to sushi and I cannot believe that I am leaving a 5 star review for a sushi spot that is housed alongside the touristy part of South Beach-but Ai Sushi and Carlos is a must see and taste for anyone visiting or living in South Florida!

Hate to do this but I waited over thirty minutes when the place was completed empty, no orders before me. I got a parking ticket it took so long. 30 mins for two rolls when it’s empty is crazy!
