We had Oysters Rockefeller ( the baked oysters) and the fish and chips( cod). They had a bar with a great beer, and wine selection, and it was very clean. Our server was sweet and attentive. This is no frills bar food, and you are 200 miles inland. The shrimp boats are not bringing in a fresh catch daily. You can expect the selections to be frozen, but they were cooked very well. It surpassed my expectations. We will go back!

We love stopping in for Bayou oysters on any given day. We have yet to be disappointed. Delicious Wings and fries on the side aren’t a bad choice either. Laid back ambiance in the cut.

I have driven past The Bridge Grill hundreds of times over the years. From the outside it looks like a rundown hole in the wall. Granted many of these places have the best food around, but I never felt compelled to try it. Then, last week I was in the mood for bar food. My husband and I were in Stockbridge, so we decided to give The Bridge Grill and Oyster Bar a chance. I’m so glad we did. First, service was great with a kind and attentive waitstaff, and they had four or five tvs all showing different sports (including the Braves game). We ordered jalapeño poppers for our app. Y’all, they were made from scratch and so yum. The fries were hot and crispy…I could have eaten three basketfuls. I enjoyed my fried shrimp and my husband his burger. My only complaint was i could tell it was time ro change the oil in the fryer, and soft drinks are served in 20oz bottles with no free refills (but the cost of two bottles is comparable to the price of a coke at local sitdowns). They do have a covered outdoor eating area if you want to eat outside or drink and smoke. Even though the menu is limited, there is something for everyone. And at 4pm in the afternoon it has pretty full. I am so glad we tried The Bridge, and I can’t wait for my next visit!!
