I was visiting Portland for my very first time for of course but my husband and I decided to switch it up this particular evening for dinner. My husband found this quaint spot by doing a Google search and just WOW! Who knew! I now have a reason other than lobster to visit! The flavors of your curried chicken was sensational and the cabbage was (that means ). My husband said his jerk chicken was so on point! I also had a curried chicken patty that I froze (because I was stuffed after eating my meal) and ate 3 days later once back in Michigan that was still very tasty! Thanks for the food experience, I thoroughly enjoyed

SO GOOD! I got the veggie curry w/ rice & peas and plantains — everything was so flavorful and nourishing!! I’m definitely coming back to try the jerk tofu (unfortunately they were out). This spot is a dream for both vegans and meat eaters alike 🙂

The food here is amazing! We got a small plate with curry chicken and jerk chicken, plantains, and rice & beans. Portions were very generous. Hubby got a fried chicken burrito with a beef n cheese patty. Cant wait to go back.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 10/10 on speed, service, selection, price and taste. Whoa my God. Stopped in while exploring Portland and ordered the oxtail combo plate. It was perfection that I haven’t had since I visited Jamaica last year, and served up from some very kind people. Will I be making another drive from Massachusetts to visit again? Absolutely.

As someone born in Jamaica. This place should be avoided at all costs. I gave this fake Jamaican restaurant 2 chances. I’ve never had a beef patty that was so dry it couldn’t be called beef. Waste of $4.50. They call themselves serving me 3 pieces of oxtail in the Oxtail Mac and Cheese plate.
