Great watering hole off the beaten path. We try to visit a couple times a year. Food and drinks are really good and worth a try if you haven’t been here. Bloody Mary’s are yum, spicy style might make you breath fire.

website is worthless. said they open at 9:00. NO!!! Rode the trail came back after for Burgers and tater tots from the website menu ( no tots on cafe menu). We were the only 2 in there. The burgers were OK, but the fries were just lukewarm like they been micro heated. It was a BIG let down.

I never entered the inn, we went tubing down the river. This is where the equipment to rent is. Had a simply fantastic day floating down the river. SO relaxing. It wasnt crowded & we rarely saw the other floaters on the river. Be aware it can get a bit deep in spots, but stay towards the middle & you’ll float all day. WEAR RIVER SHOES OR SNEAKERS!! The bottom is rock filled & slippery with river moss. Pull off during your float & have lunch, theres no time limit other than get back at a reasonable time. These folks want to go home too.

Road the bike trail today, Cannon Falls to Welch with my grand daughter We had 2 burger baskets and ice cold root beer! Highly recommend stopping in. We will be back.
