This place is great! Everyone was so kind and helpful. When we first came in, we told them it was our first time and they went over the menu with us and explained everything. We ordered the linguine and a small seafood boil. Everything tasted amazing!! This is a very lovely little place and I will absolutely be coming back.

We had a delightful lunch experience at The Nook as first-time visitors! We opted to try “the other faves” dishes, which included jambalaya and creamy Cajun linguine. Both meals were tasty and satisfying, but the true highlight was the delectable creamy Cajun linguine. To enhance the flavors even further, we added a bit of extra hot sauce as a garnish.

I was driving from Downey to Corona and I saw this location. I decided to look it up online before heading back home. It definitely did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and the place is pretty clean. The environment and music is fun. I tried the jambalaya and it was amazing. I will be going back to try their other food!!

This is a precious hidden gem. I have dined in before with friends but today was take out. I love the attention to detail with the presentation of the food but most importantly the taste is freaking AMAZING!! The music choice while I waited for my takeout was a bonus, old school hip hop… the best In all sincerity I have tried many places that make Cajun seafood but THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY THE BEST CAJUN SEAFOOD I have ever eaten I started eating my delicious food as you can tell in the pictures

Got the dinner special. Honestly, I really wanted to like this place because everyone else seemed to like it. The spice was there, and it was pretty spicy, just the way I like it. However, I thought the food lacked flavor. It was like biting into a normal potato and for some reason it was spicy. I did come around an hour before closing, so that may explain why my experience was the way it was, but I do not find that a good excuse to serve food of lower quality.

Compared to other seafood boil places we’ve been to, this is at the bottom of the list. They don’t even offer crab legs, boiled eggs, or lobster. So no wonder the prices are low, they only offer the cheaper items in their boil. On top of that, the flavor was mediocre and the food came out Luke warm. When I eat a boil, I expect it to be boiling hot!! Then to top it off, they charged a 15% gratuity charge that was not mentioned or posted anywhere. We had a party of 4 adults and 3 kids. We all know dang well kids don’t require much service, so what are we getting charged 15% for!!?? People were nice and very welcoming, but I wouldn’t ever come back here again if you’re expecting to eat a really good seafood boil.

I usually don’t do reviews. It was first time visiting the Nook about a week ago after continuously seeing the rave reviews. I was greeted by a nice lady who I perceived was an owner. She recommended the dinner special and I added the jambalaya. The first food was very good! Garlic and spices were in point! I will definitely put them in my frequent rotation!
