2 months ago, this was an awesome plate of food. Had 2 fish/6 shrimp off the menu. Snapper fillets were seriously hot and delish. Jordyn and Alicia were terrific. Very polite with lots of smiles. Had Calimari appetizer, a full basket was provided that had wonderful flavor.

OHHH Man this place was a surprise. Family showed up to eat for Fathers Day and it was not packed. We were concerned because usually any restaurant is packed. However, The food was Delicious. As a family we Ordered the seafood platter, fried rice, burgers and Mexican Shrimp cocktail. We will definitely be back and so happy that we stopped by. Had a great experience. As a father I just wanted to take it easy, relax and enjoy a good meal and beer. Highly recommend this place.

New management and kitchen staff are under trained. Cocktail sauce was jelly like it had been sitting out on the counter too long. Fish is good but without any sauce, its dry. Tried to talk to manager about problem but she was uncaring and not helpful.

Lunch Special was Seafood Gumbo with two pieces of fried Catfish for me! (They would cook your catfish any way you liked it!) it was served with Rice! I bought a lunch Salad and had Ice Tea! The food here (my first time) is as good as their food in their Sea Food restaurant in Lake Jackson; were I have eaten many times! You know, when Sysco employees (FOOD SERVICE) have lunch their it is always a good sign; 2 are at the table next to ours!

The restaurant has a nice clean outside environment. The interior is clean, service is prompt, food is served at the perfect temperature where you can actually eat it, the moment it is brought out and not wait until it cools off a bit, especially since it is deep fried. The food is perfectly seasoned. Everything was perfect and could have enjoyed dinner a bit more if the A/C was turned on. It was hot outside and so the interior temperature was a bit stuffy. No ceiling fans to help ease the stuffiness. Management did say the A/C had a mind of its own. Hopefully, A/C is fixed soon.

Angleton Seafood Restaurant is not a bad place to have lunch. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Upon first entering I noticed it was pretty warm inside. Their A/C quit working, but one of the staff quickly let everyone know that they were working on it and apologized to every customer, Much respect for that. I originally came in because I was craving crab legs, so it was a bit disappointing that they were out of King and Snow crab. I decided to make the best of it and ordered a beer and the fried Calimari. The beer was cold and the Calimari was very well done. I really enjoyed them. I then ordered the 6 grilled Jumbo Shrimp, with fries and coleslaw. The shrimp was also really good and the coleslaw was fantastic! All in all, I would go again. They did seem a bit understaffed, but the employees that were there, were busting their backsides to take care of the customers. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy. The other thing I noticed was that this place was screaming for a bar. If any place should have a bar installed it is this place, it just seems like a missed opportunity. I recommend Angleton Seafood Restaurant for a good meal and decent prices. NOTE: (I realize now that the pictures I posted of the menu have too much light in certain areas, but you can see the prices and get an idea.) Great service!

A great place to eat. I love the shrimp either fried or grilled. My sister had the grilled catfish with dirty rice and vegetables. This is also a great choice. Every thing I’ve had has been excellent. A good place to take visitors and experience great gulf coast food and service. Wait staff is professional and attentive. Either location, Angleton or Lake Jackson, is a really good choice to enjoy seafood.

It was not busy when we went there. I ordered the fried catfish, and my son ordered fried red snapper. The food was very fresh, hot, and good. We tried each other’s fish to compare. Both of us liked the fried catfish more. The fish do not have standard cornmeal coating, but we liked it. The french fries were good.The coleslaw that came with it had a very different flavor, not necessarily bad. It took a few bites to adjust to it’s seasoning. We did not like the cocktail sauce. It had a very strange, sweet flavor. The prices were good.
