Mountain Guide
Kizuna Japanese Restaurant has the closest thing to authentic Japanese food in Northern Georgia. We tried the vegetable curry, shrimp yakisoba and the teriyaki chicken meals. The presentation was nice and the food was good. The lanterns give the place an izikiya type feel, but the music playing over the speakers should be Asian themed and not a pop cover band.

My best friend is in town visiting me and we stopped by just for sushi… and ended up ordering an appetizer AND entrees! The pork Ramen was incredible, and we really enjoyed our sushi (sweet chili roll, spider roll, and spicy tuna roll).

Took an hour to get 2 rolls. At the 45 minute mark the waitress came and told me that they were just getting to my order. When I was surprised they “were just getting to my order” and told the waitress it had already been 45 minutes she told me that I would just have to wait for the girl to make my rolls. It took another 15 minutes to get my 2 rolls. Everyone else at the table had already finished their meals and were waiting on me. I got a spicy tuna roll that may as well been called a “rice roll” because there was very little spicy tuna to it. I would not recommend going here.

I went with my fiancé to eat here and after we eat and everything I saw that they put in the ticket a mandatory 20% tip. I ask the waitress and she said any party of 6 or more had to pay that amount, I explained it was just 2 people , she saw it was only 2 people on the table and still nothing, ended up having to pay an extra on a tip even though the service was terrible. Will not be dining in here ever again.
