I just had to share, whoever was cooking on 8/8/23, around 12:30, made the best onion rings I’ve ever had. The absolute best. I also had a super friendly and patient waitress, even the whole restaurant was full! I barely even waited for my food either. A great atmosphere with great employees and great food.

It was my 1st time here. It looks like a reg. restaurant, than the regular Schoops. The ladies were very attentive & happy to get what you needed. The atmosphere was calming & a very nice place to meet friends. They have really cool pictures if you’re into the 40, & 50’s movie stars! The food was very good also.

From Texas and read about the top 10 burgers in the United States. Schoop’s made top five so I had to stop by and try it. Fantastic burgers! Onion Rings and homemade Ranch dressing! My wife and had supper there on 5/8/2023. The soup I had was great as were the fries. Her hamburger was OK. I had a fish sandwich. Let’s just say when I put it in the yard for the birds to eat. I got out of the way quick. To avoid having that fish sandwich thrown Back at me. Could have just been a off day. Our server was great. We’ll be back.

Went there to meet up with family. There were 4 adults, 1 preteen. I wasn’t hungry enough to eat a whole Schoops burger so I ordered the kids meal. The server comes back to inform me that I’m not allowed to order the kids meal as an adult, her manager won’t allow it. Mind you I’m the only one ordering a kids meal, and there is a kid at our table. My brother gets a bit irritated but just tells the server that there is a child at the table so if it’s that big of a deal, just switch our meals. Took her a minute to understand but she literally switch our meals. When she served us she gave me chicken tender and my kids meal to the kid. Barely came back to our table to give refills…. I’m sorry but I won’t be returning

Great hamburgers with crispy edges. It appeared that most of the servers were younger. They were all busy stocking, serving and helping each other. This group just worked together. This certainly contributed to a very pleasant dining experience for all of the customers. Server stopped by often to offer drink refills and check on our food. A wonderful experience and great burgers!

Solid place to get a meal. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it was pricey. I got a solid amount of food, but walked out spending 40 bucks just by myself. A little steep, but worth it for a random trip. The burger was great and greasy. The fries were good as well as the milkshake. Would recommend as long as you’re okay with spending a decent amount of money!

When it comes to 50 style diners this 1 is 1 of the good ones. If you’re familiar with green river soda then you need to try their green river shake. The food remains the same as it did from the day they opened. Good quality service and good quality food. Everyone seems to be happy to be there which it shows, good pride in their work and service.

This was a “go to” place years ago and now seems to have just gone downhill. Fries used to come piled high in a basket, and now are sparse and they put a plate under the order to make it look like there is more in it. Cups are old and have a wash glaze that makes them appear dirty. Prices have really climbed compared to the small portion sizes.
