Willie’s Kitchen is one of my go-to spots for good grub. Customer service is always top notch. Willie is the man and so is his executive son Willie Jr. I just came in last night to get some ribs and boy were they Fire fire! Each bone just got better and better. Juicy, smoky and tender. Chef Bryan really did his thing! You’re a wizard man. I HIGHLY recommend.

Drinks were on-point and the food was delicious, from the juicy charbroiled burgers to the twice cooked fries and Korean wings. Get the sauce on the side to experience the perfect crispy fry and seasoning on the wings before dipping into the gochujang. Great service from friendly staff. Really nice gem of a find in the neighborhood.

Willie is a LEGEND!!! Truly incredible person making INCREDIBLE FOOD!! Best burgers in Oakland hands down!! Catfish is out of this world! All the different fry styles!!! Fantastic food and Willie is so damn nice. We love the Mac and Cheese, the fried chicken sandwich, the brussel sprouts – honestly we haven’t had anything bad here. Buy some food and grab a beer at Aloha and you’re set for the evening.

2nd time there and the Argentine Chicken sandwich is just as tasty as the first time. Partner had a burger and pozole and both so delicious. Willie is very personable and gracious. I can’t wait to sample many other dishes on his menu. Parking is easy and wait time is very reasonable.

No hay nada más que me gusta, k seguir una buena mano, aunque eso signifique cambiar de barrio, marcharse a otra comuna o distrito solo para volver deleitarse con esa mano, and in this case Willie has proven once again how crossing borders doesn’t necessarily mean leaving your roots behind. Willie tuvo sus estrellas bajo la cocina del tan estimado y extrañado “Lukas Taproom” en el centro de Oakland, mecca de habituales, visitantes, familias and anything above and beyond. Willie has stand out by offering an excellent family, group or solo ,date location in the heart of fruitvale shares the patio with the old timer bar Aloha Bar, how much more neighborhood can this feel?!

Walked into a fairly quiet but not deserted bar. Nice decor and the bartender was friendly although I didn’t order anything alcohol. Instead I opted for the Vegan Quesabirria tacos. The order was personally taken by the Chef. A first time experience for me, esp after hearing so much about them in LA. Did not Dissappoint yall! 2 thumbs up.
