I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was busy but we still got fast and friendly service. Vibe in here is so laid back. Loved the mariachi music playing as we ate, it made me want to get up and dance . Prices were comparable to other restaurants with the same menu. Bonus points for access to an ice cream shop right next door. Highly recommend you check it out. Only thing I would suggest is to add some De Colores to the walls. Had hot and mild salsa available.

It wasn’t the best authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had, but it was good enough to be my first dinner in New Mexico. I loved the pineapple on the tacos, and I included them with every bite possible – It was an interesting fruity flavor to mix in with the Mexican and meat flavors. The rice could have been less mushy, and the beans should have been thicker instead of runny. But all in all good place to eat for less than $13. The customer service was excellent considering they were busy and were going back and forth effortlessly with speaking Spanish versus English, and they always intuited correctly who would need to be spoken to in English, and who not.

I tried this place while in town visiting the NationaI park. I went there for 2 nights. I got the chorrizo tacos, brisket tacos and an order of fries for first night. The second day, I ordered steak, pastor tacos plate. I requested for just rice, no beans and to add cabbage to my tacos instead of pineapple and they did . The taste was good and reasonably priced. You get complimentary sauces and salsa too. A good Mexican place to try while

Kind of a cool place, lots of families when we went for dinner. Expected the food to taste better. Very bland. $33 for 2 steak and 2 chicken tacos w/rice and beans plus 4 Birria tacos w/rice and beans. Recommend skipping the rice and beans. Not great texture and pretty flavorless. Very busy so maybe we just don’t get it?

They have some of the most amazing street tacos in this town! I absolutely love their customer service. If you call in your order, like ive always done, and they dont answer the 1st time just hang tight because they will definitely call you back soon as theyre available. They hustle that business and I admire that. You dont even have to wait in the drive thru pickup line very long either because once they notice more than the one car already sitting at the window, theyre outside regardless of the weather with ticketbook in hand ready to take orders or hurriedly bring yours if you already called it in. These people really do care about their customers and it shows. I can’t really honestly remark on the menu because I always get the same thing. But I can say the plate I do get is SO GOOD! and they dont chinch on the amount they give you either! Most places raise their prices and give less food, not this place. Same price, same amount. I’m chowing down while writing this review so dont let the lack of sides full ya, both compartments were overfilled. Strongly recommend this place and thank y’all for such good service!

A hidden Gem. Prices are reasonable and well worth it. Food was served in an intermediate time and tasted great. Definitely recommend between the Quesa-Birria Tacos, Green Salsa Enchiladas and/or Mexican Shrimp Cocktail with Agua de Jamaica. Also very clean establishment with good music. If you ever drive through/visit Carlsbad, NM this is a must go!
