No day exploring Lookout Mtn is complete without stopping here for lunch! Phenomenal BBQ, amazing sides, southern sweet tea with a twang and all at amazing prices. While you wait for your food enjoy rocking in a chair or glider and breathing in that fresh mountain air. If you like greens I highly recommend their collard greens, some of the best I’ve ever had!

Stopped in on a rainy Saturday early evening. We were hungry and looking forward to some good BBQ. Placed two orders. One was the brisket plate with 2 sides. Chose BBQ beans and potato salad. Was offered a choice of sweet BBQ sauce on the side or spicy sweet BBQ sauce on the side. Second order was for brisket sandwich, no sides, same two sauce on the side choices. We both chose sweet sauce on the side. Food was hot. But the brisket was already saturated in a spicy sweet sauce and oversalted. I was so disappointed. It smelled so good. Why ruin it by drowning the brisket in sauce??? And then too much salt?? I guess they were trying to preserve it. I would not order brisket again. I ended up just enjoying my two sides. Delicious. I would order them again. Now the sandwich had the same results. Too saucy, bite of hot spice already added, too much salt in the flavor. He would not order it again. The area to eat outside is small. Not much room for a large party or several patrons. We took our orders back to our cabin for this reason. So no drink ordered. The Amish swivel chairs, rocking chairs, gliders and swings were very interesting and well made. They were comfortable to sit in and wait for the order you placed at the outside window.

We stopped by here after hiking at Cloudland Canyon and so glad that we did!!! Incredible food!!! We had a rib sandwich, brisket sandwich and Pork sandwich and all were absolutely delicious! The collards are some of the best I have ever had!! Will definitely stop in again!!

Went there for lunch on a Sunday, it wasn’t anything special. I ordered a brisket plate and I’m certain I got a pulled pork bbq plate, as it looked more like pulled pork in bbq sauce, not sliced brisket, like what I’m accustomed to. Husband ordered a bbq sandwich and pinto beans and they gave him baked beans. Gentleman working there was pretty short and borderline rude, enough so that we likely won’t return. Chocolate and pecan pies were very good, but not worth the $50 we spent.

Best ribs I’ve ever had! The baked beans were great as well. I love to support small business…especially when they do a good job. Very patriotic signs for decor. Will definitely come back next time we visit.

I came across this awesome place today! The ribs were moist, tender and very flavorful. The slaw was extremely tasty. The baked beans were very interesting. They have an incredibly flavorful spin on baked beans. The restaurant is extremely clean and appealing. The health department score was 100! This was my fourth different BBQ restaurant stop this week in Northwest Georgia and was hands down the best! The owner was very friendly. Overall it was great! I can’t wait to go back and try the brisket.
