Granny Darmics is a hidden jewel. We were visiting, found this spot on Google. The food was delicious, staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I’m from the south, and this is southern soul cooking. ❤️. Be prepared to wait a bit, they cook to order- but it’s worth it!

We eat here at least once a month. Delicious soul food. My favorite is the fried trout, fries, and collard greens. Another favorite is the meatloaf platter with collard greens and candid yams. Friendly staff.

We found this little hidden gem and would do it again without question. If you like down home cooking then this is where you want to go. Soul food is exactly what it means. Food for the soul. Not some franchise that pledges speed and really doesn’t care about the people. Pork chops, Ribs, fried chicken, and some seafood. We had to tryout all of it so we ordered it up. We recommend this place if you like southern cooking. Thank you Granny Darmics.

If you haven’t been here yet you don’t know what you’re missing. I got the fried catfish and it was amazing. Cooked to perfection. The potato salad was one of the best I have ever eaten. They gave me a slice of cornbread that was so moist it reminded of cake. This is definitely a hidden gem in Harrington. Can’t wait to go back and try the pork chops

Absolutely delicious! My husband never wants fried chicken from any other place around here again. The catfish is excellent as well, and the sides are unbelievably yummy. I love the Mac and cheese and the candied yams. It’s also very affordable. We will be back!

Absolutely amazing!!! The food is made to order, so expect a little more of a wait time. Well worth the wait since it’s hot and fresh! Has the usual soul food menu, but it’s well prepared and delicious. My new favorite spot!
