Super friendly ,local feel, excellent food! One of my favorites on the west side. I went as part of a large group ( 30+) and they took great care of us. They even have a small , private area that you can reserve. Excellent! Favorite dish: the dynamite roll. But everything was truly delicious.

We found this place by accident. I ordered the Chicken Katsu with brown rice. Let me tell you, the curry….chef’s kiss. This curry is thick, and loaded with ingredients that give it that authentic, rich, Japanese flavor. Having lived in Japan, and literally named my cat Katsu, I am very critical about my Katsu Curries. Let me tell you, Chef Michi knows what she’s doing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially if you enjoy Japanese cuisine with fresh, and organic ingredients.

I love michis restaurant my favorite is her salmon poke bowl rainbow row and miso soup I’ve never had any complaints at all keep in mind the portions are a perfect size so you will be full just right and not over fed specially during work hours this location does get busy I do my all do be patient call in Advance for pickups I don’t like to interfere last minute last minute means disaster my orders are always perfect also love the crispy tuna sandwich

Cooked options were average, nothing exciting. I think the best thing I ordered were their green beans. I had a craving for sashimi, which is normally my go-to when craving Japanese food. However, I also have the palette of a 3.5 year old to satisfy, hence why we chose this restaurant. I am from the SGV, so this isn’t my first rodeo with Japanese food, or raw seafood for that matter.

This was a terrible place. We put in a large to-go order, 18 pork ramen bowls. When we got home, each order had a single 2″ x 3″ slice of pork and a couple pieces of green veggie thing. That was it for $18 each. I understand Santa Monica is a tourist town and the order was large but my goodness, if you can’t fulfill the order, don’t accept it.
