Can’t say that I was terribly impressed by the taste of the food. Service and atmosphere definitely a 5 star but “delicious” would not be a word I could honestly describe my hanger steak. And at $47, I would want to be wowed by my food.

6 of us were gathered for a celebration. Server was polite, helpful, and attentive. She helped us pick a great selection of appetizers, which we all liked very much. Our mains were terrific. After apps and mains we had to skip dessert… Next time.

We were supposed to dine at our favorite Le Relais de Venice L’Entrecôte in Manhattan to celebrate my husband’s book release but Google told us they were closed (?) , and found this hidden gem in Port Washington! We had a reservation for 5:30pm but arrived at 5, glad we were early because the place was packed by the time we were enjoying dessert. Truly enjoyed the service & delicious dinner from the cocktail French Martini, Calamars Framboise for Hors d’ Oeuvres (was dying to try the Burrata Salad but since my husband can’t eat cheese, we picked the calamari instead) , Entrées (Steak Frites, Macaroni Au Gratin & Duck) and of course le dessert (Creme Brulee, Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Ice cream) . Just like Fancy Nancy’s favorite expression, it was magnifique ⭐️

At the last minute walked with my twin daughters for brunch. The hostess squeezed us in and we enjoyed every minute of this cute bistro. Great vibe on a Sunday in June. The complimentary bread and soft whipped butter was a nice way to start. Never felt rushed and the food was delicious.

The ambience of the place was just right. Owner/host greets everyone at the door. It was a Friday night and my birthday. We found this French restaurant on Google. Had a definite bistro feel to the place. Started off with escargot and calamari. The calamari was lightly breaded and tasted so good you didn’t need the sauce, which wasn’t bad but I prefer sweet/spicy blends for my calamari. Dinner was shrimp and scallops for me and hangar steak for the wife. I enjoyed mine very much unique blend of sauces and diced vegetables. Neither of us liked the hangar steak. Was too tough and cut too thick to enjoy it. Next time she will try the NY strip! Overall a great experience and will definitely come back again. Note the drinks are great. Raspberry martini is literally to die for…You can order wines by the glass or bottle as well Although Google gives it $$ marks it’s closer to $$$. Definitely recommend this place if you want to experience not just good French cuisine but the feel and atmosphere of a cornerstone bistro on any Parisienne street.
