My family was craving some pizza but we are vegan so our choices are limited when eating out. We got the veggie pizza with their vegan wheat crust and vegan cheese. The crust was extremely thin, almost like eating a pizza made with a tortilla. In my opinion, there was too much cheese on it but I may be in the minority on that. I also didn’t care for how tiny the peppers and onions were. My husband and son liked the pizza but it was not something that I would order again. This place may be great for regular pizzas but if you are needing a vegan pizza, I would keep looking if you’ve got the time.

Best pizza in all of Dallas. Small, cute, and quiet place, that has tons of little art inside!

My friend was very excited to try this place out. We ordered a Hawaiian and a Cheese Pizza. The service was friendly and quick. The pizzas looked great. The thin crust was phenomenal, the taste, however, was very very off. Couldn’t differentiate if it was the cheese, sauce, or the other ingredients. The only taste we could pick up from both slices was a bitter lingering flavor which made you not wanna take another bite. Couldn’t taste the ham or pineapples on the Hawaiian at all. Just left for a confusing conversation as the what the heck we were tasting.

They have a bad habit of not checking to see if they have online orders. We went to go get the pizza we ordered online. The pickup time said 40 minutes and we live 10 minutes away. We waited 30 minutes at home and left to pick it up. We got there and they couldn’t find the order. Then the realized that they forgot to check it. Instead of admitting this error they lied and said it was in the oven. We could then over hear them talking to each other as they discussed making the order that was supposedly in the oven. If you make mistakes own up to them don’t lie to me. We only came here because they had dairy and meat free options and were close. If you want a better vegetarian/vegan experience go to Pizza Lounge because that’s where we are going from now on.

While dining in the pizzeria may not be the most ideal date, the fact that they have a dining area at all is incredibly nice, and if you prefer a bit more space, there are seats and tables just outside. Either way, this pizza deserves the title of best pizza in dallas. It feels like a pizza made with genuine care and interest, using the best mixture of home made ingredients to make a meal so delicious and filling that you’ll be glad you’ll have leftovers for later.

I had recently ordered a few pies from this place for a party and everyone was blown away by the flavor of the pizza sauce and crust. The staff was great and did inform me that it was very busy so it would take a few more minutes to come out of the oven. Totally fine since it is indeed well worth the wait.

I have been ordering from My Family (formerly Marco’s) for going on a decade. Probably a dozen times a year. My family and I have enjoyed the pizzas. I would say that the quality has tailed off a bit but I still senjoy it. What is baffling is that the counter and phone service is almost comically rude and/or indifferent. I mean I worked as a teenager and am glad to see them hiring such but it almost seems like they are intentionally having me on as there is usually zero attempt at even trying to provide good customer service or a brand ambassador. Baffling.

Told the crust was Vegan last time I was here and today I’m told it’s NOT!. First of all I drove more than 30 minutes to pick up large pizzas for the family. The girl had a hard time understanding the words Vegan and Daiya. I had to repeat myself multiple times before asking which crust I was supposed to order for a Vegan pizza. She didn’t know. She went to the back where I heard her ask the question and came back with the gluten free crust and it only comes in 8 inch. Well I know that wasn’t what we had last time. I just walked out because obviously they don’t know what goes into the dough, sauce, or anything else on the menu. I had to say out loud…”why have so many specialty vegan toppings and not have a pizza crust other than an 8″ gluten free”. We won’t go back for vegan or otherwise because I hate being told something is vegan when it’s NOT.
