The location of this restaurant is the center of Koreatown. Because there are activities today, we drive very hard. However, I am very happy that although it is my first time to come here, the decoration of this restaurant is really high-end. It is a pleasure to sit in the restaurant and eat!

This is the most high brow Korean BBQ place I have ever been to. Considering BBQ originally was home fare, it’s nice that it is now high brow enough for fine dining. Service and atmosphere certainly feel rich. The quality of the meat is top notch as well. Pregnant ladies can eat their streaks well done and not have it taste like cardboard. Large rooms at this location means it can host several private parties. However, it is pricey as another reviewer commented with other cheaper Korean BBQs nearby, this location is best served for special occasions.

Do you want to impress some Asian in-laws? Well take them here and consider it mission accomplished. Well I did have the best Korean seafood pancake ever here so that’s not too bad, but with the amount of less expensive Korean restaurants within a 15 minute drive, maybe this is a good once-a-year anniversary place to treat the significant other?

Great modern Korean restaurant. I’m personally impressed how good their yukke is! They also have cappuccino which is a huge plus . If they have more bubbly wine selections then I would give 5 stars.

Somewhat modern, Korean restaurant with comparably modern decor and ambience. We had a sets of course meal. Delicate presentation was good but could have been better. Most of food were quite good, with freshly tasting ingredients. Better than 4 but not quite 5 stars. One of the causes was the penultimate course, thecbibimbap. It was a “mixture” of ingredients with no “character” of its own, needing side dishes to bring up the taste. The pictures are of the starters only. All good but bossam could have used its own spicier radish side, not the typicall radish 나물. Ambience was very good especially in their separate room.

This place looks fancy and elegant, and I assumed it is pricy. But then, I saw they have lunch menu at more affordable prices. So, we decided to try them out one weekend.

Classy upscale Korean with emphasis on good cuts of beef and various kinds of fish. While high end your usually paying for rent or decor here the food is the top part of the mix with a modern Korean flair in decor and awesome quality of ingredients. Staff was well trained and professional and fluent in English. Had the Gap Jae and Galbi with tofu soup. The rice was probably the best since Sugarfish in NYC. This a date or special occasion but has moderate lunch menu. Will return soon to explore more items on Menu

Last night was our first time at Gayeon Fort Lee and to be honest I was a bit skeptical about going cause of some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and loved the spacious feeling within the restaurant. Loved they didn’t overcook the Galbi. Didn’t feel like we were on top of each other so it was nice to be able to have a conversation and not hear other conversations.
