We decided to take our family to Julio’s for Mother’s Day (2023)). We did not have a reservation. We were told it would be 1 hour. At 50 minutes I received a text asking us if we wanted a pub table and I declined and said I’d wait for a low table. At 55 minutes I went to ask how much longer, and was told that I was offered a pub table and since I declined that, they wouldn’t offer me a low table without a reservation??? I said “you should have told me that an hour ago! I then said I need a manager! Then a hateful hostess decided to get smart with me about having a reservation and I told her not to speak to me, she then proceeded to talk over me when I was addressing another hostess. The manager got there and I told her that I was told I couldn’t have a low table without a reservation and she said “that’s not true”! When I turned towards the 3 hostess, they all put their heads down like they were invisible. The manager immediately sat us. The waitress was excellent and the food incredible!! But your hostess with the smart mouth almost ruined our whole experience!

My drink order was wrong, the chicken was dry, chips were stale and everything was cold when i got it. I was also missing utensils and napkins. The tortillas were good and fresh. I will not be ordering from these folks again. I paid 140 USD for a very bad meal. I was extremely disapointed.

The atmosphere here is great! Of course it’s not authentic Mexican food, but it’s still good none the less. Chips are nice and thin and are great with the salsa. Salsa has definitely been revised since the first time I went and it’s definitely better. Love the decor here and the margaritas are great. Been several times and never had a bad experience other than one server. My go to are the Street Tacos or the Carnitas Tacos and the Steak Fajita Bowl. My mom got the Fresca Salad and it was great as well.

The food here was very good. They have an extra spicy salsa option if that is to your liking. The service was fast and very friendly along with an atmosphere of higher-end restaurant dining for the price bracket that it is in. I had the steak fajita bowl the steak was tinder and the rice was excellently cooked and fluffy. I will be dining here again if presented with the opportunity.

Overall had a good experience. It wasn’t that busy and it took a little while for my server to get to me. They were very friendly though, and after that they checked on me regularly. Maybe the front forgot to tell him he had a table. They are a bit pricey though, I order the street tacos, $18 for 3 tacos. I will confess that they were amazing, but not convinced of the price. The house salsa is a little watery for my preference.
