The burger was good. The bacon on the burger was a bit tough but the patty was thick and juicy and cooked perfect. They only took cash. You eat outside and they have tables and chairs. There is a bathroom but I don’t recommend using it. Walking around they have some weird things sitting around…… Worth taking a look

Amazing! I’ve enjoyed plenty of roadside food stops. Never, and I mean never have I had a burger and fries that exceeded my expectations by this much. The young lady who was working was a gem. And she cooked the best burger. They call it “3 napkin” burger. They’re correct! The fries were the best as well. They were soft and perfectly salted and fried skin on to a nice deep brown. Y’all, if you’re even remotely thinking about grabbing a burger….. DO IT!

A great find on our trip home from the Buffalo River. The burgers are made fresh and the employees were nice. The fries weren’t perfect but still good and the cheese bites have some spice to them. Overall a good experience from this scenic little restaurant.

My husband and I decided to have our anniversary dinner at the Burger Barn yesterday. I called ahead to make sure they were open and the sweet girl gave me the hours but offered to stay later if needed. We hustled over there and she cooked us up the most amazing burgers!!! My husband got fries and I was a little jealous until she finished up my mushrooms. Those mushrooms were to die for!!! The atmosphere was quirky and weird so we felt right at home. I was delighted when the dog there came over for pets. He’s very polite and doesn’t even beg. Our 10 year anniversary dinner is probably our most memorable. Thanks for the amazing meal!

We stopped in here on a road trip while riding AR 21. The burger was probably one of the best I’ve ever had! The meat to bun ratio was excellent! The french fries looked like they were homemade but could have cooked a little longer for my liking. The reason for the 3-star service rating is that it took almost an hour for us to get our food.

Decent place with a friendly staff. The burgers were good, both were overcooked and a bit dry but had good flavor nonetheless. The fries were pretty good, would’ve been better if they’d have been crispy. The shake was a huge letdown, very runny and I have no idea what was floating around in it but it has an odd texture.

cash only here. mini barn grill not close to anywhere really except our Air BnB. Ramshackle property with broken and interesting things all around. A few small outdoor “dining” areas. Off season menu doesn’t match what is shown on their website currently. Hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger, maybe something else I don’t remember. Fries come with burgers. Don’t remember seeing any other side options. Simple order-one with and one without cheese. Burgers were fat, juicy handfuls. Like the ones your dad made on the grill out back (although the bun wasn’t able to hold up to the condiments). And the fries are similar to a local chain where I’m from so I loved them. (Maybe cooked in old oil based on the dark color though). These were a top-notch burger available on a lovely drive through the Ozarks. And to anyone complaining about the cash only thing, you need to realize that the fees charged by banks for using credit cards can do serious damage to the bottom line of a small business like this one. Sorry if it keeps you from enjoying the food here. If you see them as you drive by, give them a try.

Wonderful came out from hiking waterfalls we were all cold. They had a fire going. Treated us just like family. A lady there brought out her riding horses that were absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to come back!
