Naf Naf means to ‘fan the flame.’ The expression is used as an invitation for friends and family to gather and share a meal together. Back in 2009, Sahar Sander, our late founder, opened the first Naf Naf in Naperville, Illinois and invited the community in to try his authentic handmade recipes true to his Middle Eastern upbringing. We still serve those recipes today at every Naf Naf and invite you in to share a meal with us.
Modern Middle Eastern counter-serve chain dishing up shawarma & falafel on pitas, rice or salads. Based on 176 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.0 stars. Price $

The pita wrap chicken shawarma from here was surprisingly delicious. I ordered this with the garlic and spicy green sauce. Great place for something quick on the go. The baklava is decent.

Decided to try this place will probably be the first and last. Tried the bowl. Everything in my bowl was flavorless and Chicken was dry dry. The ONLY good thing was the falafel. I will keep going across 380

I’m usually pleased with this place but pretty disappointed today. One of the girls working there was in a very grumpy mood but it’s understandable, we all have bad days. But what isn’t is getting half the amount of food I’ve always gotten. Pretty disappointed in receiving such little food for a normal bowl. The picture I have posted is the bowl right when it’s opened, no food eaten yet.

Tried both Crispy chicken bowl and chicken shawarma. Crispy chicken is bland and not all worth to try. Even the rice is super dry and no flavor at all. Shawarma is much better. Falafel is okay. Peta is good. Overall, one time visit.

Went with my family for a late lunch, 3PM. This was my second time eating here. There were 3 girls and 1 guy working, all having nothing to do as no customers were present. Horrible customer service, explained it was my family’s first time there and they had no patience and did not want to help with ordering. They were out of chicken shwarma and when asked why they hadn’t made it before running out their manager Ryan yelled at me for asking that question. Once we got our food, all the employee left to go in the back and chat. Only GiGi was very nice and answered our questions. The owners need to train their employees to provide better customer service.

Had the veggie falafel sandwich and the bread was nice and fluffy, the falafels were tasty and the garlic and harissa sauces were on point

Went there for lunch before heading to work. Always wanted to stop by and so glad I did. I got the chicken build your own plate. The garlic sauce and hummus is so so good. And you get a fresh baked Pita. The chicken was very flavorful. I have to say this place is better than Hungry Platters. I’ll definitely be back.

Good food. I enjoyed the steak and fried chicken. Neither were readily available but were cooked up in a decent manner of time. The young ladies were all professional and patient which was appreciated since it was my first time there. I will say that the price to portion size is a bit steep. Overall, not bad and will probably try again.
