I enjoyed the smokiness and flavors in the BBQ. The brisket sandwich was great, and the smoked wings crunchy exterior reminded me of candied bacon. They were a bit rich for my liking, but they were moist which is what I was looking for. I would defintely want to try some other items on the menu when I am in the area again. They have some outdoor shaded seating and picnic tables which is also a plus!

Big Mike’s BBQ is just simply amazing. I try to go every week or so either on a work lunch break or grab supper to go. The brisket sammich is awesome. Just how I like it; pulled, made fresh, and a lot of it. I also tried the smoked wings today and they were perfect. Deep fried ribs too? Oh heck yeah. So good. My favorite sides were the baked beans, coleslaw, crinkle fries. I imagine anything else new I try would be great too.

I eat weekly at Big Mike’s BBQ. It’s my go to place for the best BBQ in WNC. Absolutely everything else on the menu is fantastic, I know I’ve tried them! Amazing food. Great sauces. The ribs are cooked to perfection. They do not skimp on sides. Best lunch in years. I hear often the sell out and it does not come as a suprise. Anyone saying “‘Finger lick good” about BBQ in this area speaks of this food. If you ask them and they have not eaten here, disregard what they say….

The slop bucket is my favorite meal here. You get a little bit of everything. They work hard to deliver quality bbq. Our family loves ordering meats from here and we’ve been ordering from Mike for several years now. The eastern Carolina bbq sauce is spot on too! Highly recommend
