I’ve passed Sal’s Philly a thousand times heading to XC but was always too full to try it out, that ended today! I had the pleasure of walking into a place where the people working may have been some of the kindest I’ve met in a long time. I don’t want to go into too much detail but they really seem to care about their customers.

We have been customers of Sals for 16 years. The food is phenomenal. The portions are huge. The prices for the quality and amount of food you get are a great value! This is definitely a place you need to try. Original Philly is my fave with extra meat because half goes to work with me for lunch the next day. We will be customers forever!

It was a good place until the owner and his wife sold it. These new guys are terrible. The 1 on 79th he used to own. ImThat place is terrible, too now. If you get a chance to get a cheessteak from the original sal and his wife definitely try it.

Love the food!! Tried a few things so far so good. The double cheeseburger is mammoth and delicious. I’d show a pic but I already wolfed it down. The staff behind the counter are always very nice. Sal’s is starting to be one of my regular joints.
