Seriously great genuine Texas brisket in an out of the way spot I’d of never guessed. Amazing flavor and great people, we’ll be back for sure! No pics of the brisket, it vaporized, the chocolate lava cake and pineapple upside down cake were the bomb!

Luke took great care to make sure that I left satisfied. I started with a plate of ribs and brisket. The ribs win over the brisket because of the flavor–I prefer more smoke flavor in my brisket. Both meats were tender and juicy and the ribs came right off the bone. But the thing that I fell in love with is the Rojo chili. I love the chili because it bites back and the flavor will punch you square in the mouth! Don’t take my word for it, head out there soon so you can try it yourself.

If your looking for a place that is NOT a fast food chain, then this is the restaurant for you. It has GREAT FOOD – nice Country Atmosphere, friendly staff (just a nice little hole in the wall place to go). We had their pulled pork, chicken, ribs, and bake beans (all of it was awesome) and will be back to try the brisket, pork chop, and sausage next time. Keep in mind the pork chops are only served on Friday’s after 4 p.m. and they are sold until they are gone, which apparently is pretty quickly.

Everything was amazing. We had brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, cole slaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, pineapple upside down cake, chocolate lava cake. There was not one bite that wasn’t beyond delicious. And dude the puppy just adds to the character of the place prices are great

We just stopped for the first time, and we’re glad we did! Wonderful Texas style BBQ, the chili was very good, and both the pineapple upside down cake and the chocolate lava cake were delicious. We’ll be back. Dude is cool!

I will start by saying I travel the country for work and sometimes my reviews are a little harsh because I’ve found some phenomenal places to eat and I base my taste on the good ones. Good BBQ is very hard to find, I’m glad I will be working in this area for many months. This place is definitely the real deal. My one and only very, very slight disappointment is that I prefer more smoke, but I also understand most people don’t care for that much smoke, so I’m overlooking this as they are probably pleasing the mass.
