Three of us went for dinner last night. There was a busy take out business, but only three tables out of about 30 had people dining in. I think I know why. Some of the food was reasonable, some was not. The service was abysmal. We each ordered an appetizer and a main course. Some of the appetizers came out but the one soup we ordered never materialized. I think they ran out of egg drop soup and didn’t want to admit it. Then one main dish came out with a serving spoon in it, no plates to serve it to and eat from, no rice, and no other main courses. For a LONG time. After much complaining, and the waiter insisting it was not his fault (everything that happens at the table is the waiter’s fault) we were brought very small plates (not dinner plates), apparently to share the one dish, which we obviously did not intend to do. Still no other main courses. No rice. Then a second main dish came out, no rice. After about a 15 minute spread from the first dish, the third dish came out. I suppose when packing a take-out bag, it doesn’t matter what order things are completed, but the kitchen staff needs a reminder that it does matter when you have a table with diners seated. I would never bring anyone here who I wanted to impress. Oh, and the Pad Thai sucks. Really, guys, you can buy decent Pad Thai sauce in a jar at the Whole Foods a couple doors down. You should consider that for future Pad Thai orders.

Great place I’ve been going to for years! Tim (the waiter) is extremely friendly and always attentive. I recommend trying something different here, like the walnut shrimp or the curry chicken (tastes a lot like panaang curry if you like that sort of thing.) Also the spicy seafood soup has great flavor. Other sites like yelp and urban spoon have good reviews for this place so don’t just take the 2 google reviews at face value!

The front personnel, “boss” printed on receipt is a disaster, unfriendly woman who simply does not seem to give a what ever if you come there or not. You wouldn’t get a smile out of these front door greeters whatever amount you spend in that joint.

I dont know what to say except, something strange is up with the food recently; It is not fresh and at times some bites have a not-so-good taste, like its been contaminated with something. I have been eating here since i started working in Greenwich in 2008. It has been 5 years and the food gets worse. I am done.
