Our family got take-out tonight. The food is so good! Wonton soup and the crunchy things are really top notch. The dumplings are amazing- very juicy. The sesame chicken was perfectly cooked and tender. And the noodles and chicken were mild enough to please the kids (not easy to do). Oh- and the egg rolls were delicious too. Mama’s Taste is our new favorite in Fairfax!

It’s a small fast Chinese restaurant, food is tasty, and the ingredients are fresh. Good service and price are reasonable. I would recommend this place if you’re craving Chinese food or a quick bite.

I had been craving some biang biang noodles and heard Mama’s Taste was worth a go. As usual, I didn’t have much restraint and went with three items: spicy wontons, steamed shrimp dumplings, and biang biang noodles with beef.

Ordered take out about 5 times now. Every time the food is cooked quickly, is well made and is way above quality and portion for the price they’re charging. Is it “Americanized” Chinese food? I suppose. But I’ve eaten a lot of barely passable take out in my day and you cannot beat the quality and amount (especially the proteins) of food you get in this area for this price.

I order lunch here nearly every week, this is the best Chinese food I have ever had. Very kind and friendly staff that keeps a visibly clean and orderly kitchen that you can be confident about when it comes to food safety and quality. I would recommend anyone to atleast try Mama’s Taste if around the area.

Excellent food! The crispy beef was fried very crispy and tasty. Also the pan fried dumplings were some of the best I’ve had in the DMV area. I will definitely be coming back to try out their other dishes.

It was so good, I was really impressed with the beef and broccoli entree. It’s been a while I’ve had a Chinese dish that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. The pictures doesn’t do it justice but the beef was perfectly cut, great size and not rubbery, the broccoli was crunchy and they were not stingy with the portions. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Placed a pickup order and asked for some chili oil, woman who was working at the front seemed annoyed I even asked and told me next time to be aware they charge for it, then asked for duck sauce and was told it was in the bag. Went outside to eat only to see ONE single duck sauce and ONE soy sauce in the bag for 2 entrees. Went back in to ask for more duck sauce and was again handed ONE duck sauce. Food is good, but when you’re spending over 40 dollars somewhere and the staff is cheap about something like sauce it ruins the experience. Will not be returning
