Great place in South Bend to get something to eat or drink. I had the hot chicken sandwich, and my wife had the rigatoni chicken pasta. My wife loves the pasta just the right amount of spice to it. Like the inside of the place, very welcoming atmosphere and service was spot on today. I went for lunch today, but dinner is good as well. They also have really good specility pizza. Definitely worth checking it out, you won’t be disappointed.

I was pretty disappointed by my experience here. It started off frustrating because I couldn’t find any parking. Though they have a dedicated lot, it holds <20 cars. You then have to hope Macri’s has room in their lot, which they didn’t. This leads to street parking which is completely hit or miss, I ended up parking 2 blocks away thus making me late for lunch even though I arrived 10 min early.

My first time in South bend, I had looked up places to eat and this one kept coming up so had to check it out. We had a pretty good meal here. Ordered the half portion of the tin Can nachos which were not in a Tin can anymore, I wish I had known that. They were pretty good, very different to any other nacho I’ve ever had. They just needed a bit more sauce since the chips at the bottom were completely dry. Tried the Fig around and find out, super good. Next time I would try it on a thin crust. The brussel sprouts were awesome. The sliders were ok at best, needed a lot of seasoning. The Neva guava give you up cocktail was very good but at $10, I took 3 sips and it was gone. Overall we had a good meal, service was good as well and the restaurant is nice and clean. Parking was difficult but I would go back if I’m ever in the area again.

Had a great experience on our wedding anniversary! The service was excellent. At first the hostess was having trouble finding us a seat as they didn’t have enough servers, but she found us a table fairly quickly. Much appreciated as we had our 2 month old with us, and finding another place to eat would’ve been unfortunate. The nachos were very good and the prime melt was awesome. Had an old fashioned, and it was nice seeing proper luxardo cherries. My wife had some moscato and the agrodolce, which she liked.

A hidden gem in Downtown South Bend. The salmon and fried shrimp with brussel sprouts was delicious. They also have an extensive drink menu. I enjoyed a nice cold craft beer. Can’t wait to enjoy their patio!

We went here for dinner with the family (5 of us). It seemed at first that they were short headed as we waited for quite a while before anyone stopped to take our order. Luckily Natalie stopped and took wonderful care of us. I had the rigatoni chicken, it was wonderful, I’d highly recommend.

Beep; Boop Beep!
Visiting town and needed to grab some lunch so swung into The Lauber. It’s a slow time of day so the food came out really quick. On the downside, our fries were stone cold and we didn’t love the taste of the BBQ sauce on the pizza. We’d come back if ever in the area again, it wasn’t bad, also wasn’t a 5 star experience.
