I was charged 20% worth of fees on top of my to go order price. She charged me 10% for the order being taken out of the store and then another 10% for waffle house supplies. Since when???? I eat at this waffle house often and this is the first time I am ever hearing this. It came off as a tip for the waitress and she was calling it something else. I asked for a receipt that would allow me to look at the breakdown of the order. I was told that’s not possible My waitress and another waitress began mumbling under their breath. I did leave a tip but I am angry about the 20% worth of fees. I paid 28 and some change for a grand slam breakfast and chicken hashbrown order. My son did a soda, but 28 is a lot. Especially when these fees have never been charged on your account before. Let’s be honest and fair.

The food was great but our waiter which was a man with a beard? I thought you could not have if you were serving food. Was rude and didn’t even speak to us or asked if we needed anything. We had to ask for everything, even the syrup for our waffle, and refills. The cook was on point, though.

Went in to get a simple waffle togo, the cook im assuming comes out to our car “I cant take any customers cause my servers are ABOUT to go home, and I gotta wait on more servers” never mind the server was STILL there. Seems they just didn’t want to work, the guy who came out went right back inside and sat right back down and laid his head back on a table next to the server. And there were customers still in the store.

Atmosphere is always hostile among the employees. Service is slow because of the constant bickering amongst themselves. Besides the ridiculous price hike they did on to orders, the food is good. Waffle House is known for to go orders, so why increase where you make your money. I look at it as it takes away from giving tips to the server. Now you have a mad server.

No matter what time I come to this establishment the team is always welcoming. They greet you as soon as you come through the door. Today I tried carryout even over the phone they were just as welcoming and kind. Though I was indecisive she had much patience with me. There is no racial tension in this Waffle House. The cook is phenomenal he’s very clean-cut and very sharp in his uniform. His assistant young woman knows her stuff. her little self move around that kitchen like it’s hers. An Big Mama who was the Elder she runs the show. She is everyone’s grandmother in there she holds it down. She runs that as if it’s her own establishment as if it’s her own house. You will feel a connection to those who work there and you may never have met them a day in your life.
