I will start this review with my shame. Went there for the first time a few days ago and it was fabulous! I’m ashamed that I haven’t been here sooner. I take pride in finding great places to eat, food, and atmosphere. This place checks all of the above. The owner makes you feel like a best friend, the service is exceptional, and the food is fabulous! Its only been a couple of days and I’m already plotting my next visit with more co-workers. Run, don’t walk here.

Excellent & authentic! Posole, menudo & tamales were delicious. My new go to for Mexican food. Yet, Do not order alcoholic beverages though. The worst – I ordered a Bloody Mary & it was not even close to correct. No tomato juice, no pepper taste. It was juice with something, the worst. Also had a margarita made with squirt & was horrid. And drink prices were outrageous.

I’m a regular here, and I try to bring a friend that hasn’t experienced it every time I go! I highly recommend the Barbacoa. Their salsas are great and the homemade lemonade is always worth it. And with all that, it’s still a great value!

This was truly an incredible experience! The aqua fresca was delicious and so refreshing. The green pork was THE best I’ve ever had! Everything… staff, clientele, food, owner… was all fabulous. I recommend for anyone wanting authentic Mexican food wrapped in a truly enjoyable atmosphere.

Extremely disappointing place. From the reviews I was hoping for an incredible breakfast/lunch joint with flavorful foods. Neither of those were had, the food was very bland and middle of the road. Almost felt like it could have been made better at home, the authenticity of the food was not there, it felt too Americanized and nothing as expected or described. Highly recommend trying other Mexican joints around KCK or on SW Blvd instead.
