Old school, gem of a place. Thin and crispy pizza in a tavern.

Stepping back into time with delicious food at Patsy’s Tavern & Pizzeria in Paterson NJ, since 1930! Pizza, Stuffed Artichoke, Linguine with Broccoli Rabe & Shrimp, Meatballs, Long hots w/Sausage & Potato. No complaints here!

Went for lunch on a Friday. Nice service and great tasting pizza and mussels. Really crispy crust. Will be back when looking for high quality pizza and not take out.

An experience I’ll forever remember…a very historic spot in the heart of town. Such a great pizza, mussels and wait staff. Our time made us feel very eager to come back!

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Especially with pepperoni. Their meatballs are awesome too. Friendly service and an atmosphere that is a throwback to decades gone by. Tried it recently for the first time and went back for seconds a few weeks later. Definitely a new favorite of mine.

Went to Patsys with my parents who lived in the neighborhood 50 years ago and it was authentic old school bar pie at its best. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered a plain and a garbage pie. The crust was paper thin and levitated it was so crispy. I always say some of the best food comes from local joints and this proves it.

We stopped by on our way to Newark last Friday. We had no idea what we were gonna experience since this was our first time. We got a large cheese pizza so we could eat on our way to the airport and if there were leftovers, we could pack and take it with us in the luggage. Let me tell you, the whole large pizza was consumed in less than 5 min in the parking lot! It was marvelous, one of a kind pie. Very unique. Beautiful crust with a perfect chese/sauce ratio, a beautifully strong and uniqe tomato sauce. One of the best I tried so far in the US. Definitely will be coming back again. It’ll be worth the drive from CT.

I have been hearing about the pizza at Patsy’s for a while and had to go check it out myself to see how good it really was. It was really good !!One of the best I have ever had. If you like thin crust pizza, this place is for you. It is in my top 5 of best pizza’s I have ever tried. Cant wait to go back again. I would like to try some of their other items on the menu but I need to have their pizza again. Worth the trip there. They do require reservations at busier times.

A little salt, garlic and cheese added on top and this pie is quite good. Without it and upon first taste…extremely bland and unimpressed. The crust is perfect but the pie is heavy on a puréed tomato sauce lacking flavor. Not sure I’ll be back…
