Great place for fresh pasta. This little gem knocked it out of the park. Fresh pasta and sauces. Amazing service. Will be back! The pizza was just OK. We saw a lot of people getting desserts. They are made in-house. We will try them next time.

Why in the world was everyone in Houston not enjoying this shady, perfect little restaurant for Sunday lunch? We can vouch for all of these reviews that rave about the pasta because it is outstanding. The rigatoni cacio e pepe was delicious, as was the risotto with scallops. Both had the perfect level of al dente bite. Delicious prosciutto and burrata on the antipasti board too. As you see in the dessert case photo, a huge assortment of delicious treats. If you like a dessert that is rich but not too sweet, try the ricotta tart with golden raisins and orange. It’s crumbly, delicious and just right with either coffee or a glass of light white wine. Generous portions and friendly service, cozy atmosphere. The patio will be fantastic once Hellston, I mean Houston, is out of this heatwave. We will be back soon!

Absolutely LOVE this place. I had the carbonara, which they make authentically versus with heavy cream at other restaurants, it was amazing. I also had the almond torte for dessert, which was equally delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It is a must go to place if you want authentic Italian food.

Please eat here, it’s fantastic. Stumbled upon this place randomly and now it’s a must visit for me. Delicious Carbonara, and perfect tiramisu. I love the menu options and I really need to try more- especially the make your own pasta opstions. I stay awake at night thinking about eating here. I like how the drinks are self serve as well.

Unassuming Italian restaurant. We did the build a pasta. It was pretty good, albeit not cheap either. Pizzas are small and probably good for kids.

This is the upgraded Fresco Cafe Italiano. I used to go to Fresco frequently. The menu here is pretty much the same. They now serve alcohol. This location is slightly better. It’s still cafeteria style.
