Unfortunately, this sushi joint serves poor quality sushi, seafood, and fish compared to other restaurants and supermarkets I have frequented in the USA. They have a fair selection of different varieties of sushi, but I would say they are not up to my standard. I do want to compliment the presentation of the food and the ambience of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the sushi did not taste fresh and the serving pieces were rather small in my opinion.

Went here on a whim looking for sushi. The atmosphere is calm, quiet and clean. The restaurant is small and was busy while I was there. I came to dine in but decided to get my order to go so others could dine in.

Food was decent, especially for Reno. Green Tea Roll cake & Tempura Banana were the highlights. Service was fantastic – super friendly & attentive.

This is one of the few places in Reno that does not do all you can eat sushi, it makes sense why. They have some of the best quality sushi available, everything is fresh. The sashimi is buttery and delicious.

My fiancé and I moved here a year ago, and have yet to find good sushi in Reno. This place was recommended to me by my nail lady, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was so calming, a very clean restaurant, not to mention some of the best sushi we have ever had. Our server, Andrew, was knowledgeable with recommendations, specials, and made us feel at home! BEST SUSHI IN RENO!

We were coming through Reno returning back home to Sacramento area and wanted to stop to have some good sushi, not one of those all you can eat places. We decided to stop at Miyabi Japanese Cuisine it was a cute little place and figure we would try it out. I am so glad we did the fish was top notch and the sushi is out of this world. Can you believe this place had fresh Uni, too, and it was fantastic. This place is worth every dollar you spend and the service impeccable. I got so excited eating all the different sushi and sashimi I forgot to take photos of everything. If you are ever in Reno you have hit this place up and by pass all those cheap all you can eat sushi places because that isn’t real sushi and not the good fish.

I’ve been living in Reno since 2012 and I’ve visited almost every sushi place and this is THE BEST!!!!!!! We ordered a couple of nigiri and rolls and also ramen for my kids. All of them were a great choice. The quality of the sushi here was fantastic. The fish was fresh, source makes good harmony with food, and very friendly chef and server. By looking at this picture of food makes me hungry and I’d like to visit again. Thanks for your amazing food!!!

Best Japanese food in Reno. It’s not cheap, but it is worth every penny. The sushi has the perfect balance of rice and fish, the presentation is beautiful and it’s so fresh and flavorful. In addition, the ramen is fantastic. They sear the pork to crisp-tender and the broth is delicious without being too salty. Service is always excellent. I’ll be a regular here for a long time to come.
