I recently had the pleasure of trying out Mom’s Burgers & Wings, a popular establishment known for its crafted burgers. With high expectations, I decided to go for one of their signature mushrooms and cheese burger on a poppy seed bun. Here’s my take on the experience.

This small burger spot has not failed to amaze me every time I go. From their wide selection of unique burgers to their hand crafted sides, mom’s is nothing like my mother’s cooking (it’s better shhhh) I have already recommended this place to my closest friends and we will be stopping by soon to try more of the menu

Great quality service & fresh food. The atmosphere sort of has a small town feel. It’s hard to find a place that serves potato wedges anymore. I highly recommend if you want a real juicy authentic burger & to support local businesses. Would definitely go again since they have a yummy variety of options ❤️

Super super SMALL “combo” meal costing $18! I have eaten over 1,000 philly steaks and this has to be in the bottom 3 worse!! Dry steak , curly fries very small portions and small chips vs. full curly fry! Johnnys, Jerseys Mikes, even Wing Dash would be a much better options. First impressions is a lasting impression! $18 bucks! This has to be a SCAM!

Really good burger joint in a cozy setting. They’ve got the standard burger, cheeseburger, bacon-burger options but then they’ve also got some different and unique varieties that all seemed great. The service was friendly and fast as well. Atmosphere only got 4-stars because the décor is kind of bland and the drink station was messy.

Solid neighborhood burger joint. There’s definitely better spots for burgers elsewhere in the DFW area, but if you live in Providence Village, this one is 2 minutes away — not too shabby considering 380 these days. They do have a good variety of burger options (I’ve gotten and enjoyed the 2am and the Kalbi so far), and I really like the wedge fries and fried mushrooms. I have not yet tried the wings. The only other thing I must note is that the interior has zero atmosphere, and not just due to the lack of customers — it’s due to the fact that ownership has clearly made no effort to create any atmosphere. It is a drab, boilerplate, lifeless interior. I have only ever gotten takeout, and I don’t see that ever changing…would only eat inside if forced to. That being said, I usually prefer takeout anyways so it doesn’t really bother me. Just making the observation for the benefit of others. All things considered, still a good spot — get your takeout here instead of Wendy’s or Whataburger and support your local burger joint!

Love this place! The patties are seasoned perfectly, and the fried mushrooms are amazing. I just wish they didn’t close at 7:30. Even Friday & Saturday they close at 8. I would eat there more if I could make it in time after work before they close. Plus, I don’t want to get there 15 minutes to close at 7:15. That’s not nice to do to a restaurant. Stupid traffic getting in the way of me and Mom’s burgs. Sometimes I get lucky, though, and it’s so good, I love this place!
